Theresa Osowski, 93, Mosinee, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her home.
She was born July 23, 1920 in the Town of Reid to the late Albert and Katherine (Shebelski) Kasper. On October 11, 1941 she married Vacen Osowski in the Town of Reid. They were married for 72 wonderful years.
Theresa loved to play bingo and take bus trips with her friends to the casino. She loved all of God's creatures but especially the crows, feeding them each morning. Theresa was famous for making pies and apple slices. Fr. Marion referred to her as "Mother Theresa." She was a devoted church member of Our Savior's and was loved by the congregation. Theresa will be fondly remembered by all and missed dearly.
Survivors include her husband, Vacen, Mosinee; daughter, Kathleen (Dennis) Song, Dallas, TX; granddaughter, Dawn (Mike) Gonzalez; and her great grandsons, Dylan and Preston Gonzalez. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald; brothers, Frank, Martin, Barny, Edwin and Ben; and sister, Verna Kasper.
Services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Our Savior's National Catholic Church, Mosinee. Rev. Marion Talaga will officiate. Burial will be in Our Savior Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:30 am Wednesday at the church.
