Krubsack, Henrietta

Henrietta G. Krubsack, age 92, of De Pere, passed away in her daughters arms into the Lord's arms on Friday, July 4, 2014. She was born on December 2, 1921 in Mosinee, Wisconsin to the late Johan and Hendrika (VanEngen) VanderWaal. Henrietta married Lyman Gavol and he preceded her in death in 1972. She married Harold Krubsack on February 23, 1985. Harold preceded her in death on October 8, 1996.

Henrietta enjoyed quilting, sewing, embroidering and reading. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and past president of the United Methodist Women and the What So Ever Club. Henrietta had a very strong Christian faith. She was a loving foster parent to many children over the years. Henrietta was employed in retail sales and management for many years.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Ed Rudd of De Pere; two granddaughters, Rachel Rudd and Erica Rudd; a brother-in-law, Vernon Dolde and many nieces, nephews, other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Dolde and Helen (Norman) Borth; five brothers, William, John, Henry, Martinius and Arthur Vander Waal and many sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 5:00 pm until the funeral service at 7:00 pm with Reverend Barbara Ristow officiating. Interment will be at Mosinee Union Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com. Memorials to New Hope United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
