Evelyn D. Grabko, 81, Hatley, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born on August 1, 1932 in the Town of Reid, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Glapinski) Wodora.
On September 30, 1950, Evelyn was united in marriage to Raymond Grabko at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2014.
Evelyn was a member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. She enjoyed cooking, canning, baking, hunting and fishing. Evelyn had a green thumb and enjoyed flower gardening. She was the best babysitter and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her siblings, Raymond Wodora, Geraldine (Benedict) Kaminski and Ambrose (Florence) Wodora. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by one brother, Wallace.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 4pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. Fr. Augustine Bentil will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2pm until the time of services at the church. Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements.
