Obituary Condolences

Voeltzke, Philip Francis

Philip Francis Voeltzke, 74, formerly of Madison, WI, Kalamazoo, MI and the southwest Michigan area, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Thanksgiving morning, November 22, 2012. Phil was born March 17, 1938, in Wausau, WI. He was a successful small business owner, a Ham Radio operator and a non-commercial pilot, among many different interests! He enjoyed boating, firearms and time at his mother's house on the Wisconsin River in Wausau. Phil served with honor in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his brother, Richard (Kimiko) Voeltzke, of Streamwood, IL. His children, Joan, Michael and Karen also survive, as well as many grandchildren. Other relatives also survive. He was previously married to Janice C. (Novak) Voeltzke of Portage, MI.

The funeral will be on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home, in South Haven Michigan at 11 a.m. A burial service will take place immediately following, at Fort Custer National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. in Augusta, MI. Full military honors will take place.
