Robert Smith, 80, of Wausau, passed away Monday, December 10 with his wife at his side.
He was born May 30, 1932 to Dwight and Phoebe (Haase) Smith. Robert was a fun loving gentleman that enjoyed meeting new people and liked to fish. He was loved by his wife Susanne more than words can say.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife Susanne, two sons Robert E. (Susan) Smith II of Tennessee and Jeffery Smith of Florida, three daughters Joellen Smith of Michigan, Susan Buchwaller of Muskego, and Kathy Burton of Medford; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and three sisters Shirley Patzwald, Beth Wilcox, and Marlys Cripis.
The family wishes to thank Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice for their loving care.
