Larry L Rosenau, age 69 of Wausau, was called home on Thursday, December 13th, 2012.

He was born November 11th, 1943 to Richard and Aurelia (Yessa) Rosenau. On September 19, 1970 he married Alice Zell in Mosinee.

Larry retired from Brokaw Paper Mill on December 31st, 1998, where he had been employed for 27 years. For the next 7 years he worked at Storm Tight in Mosinee.

Larry enjoyed playing his guitar and on a trip to Nashville was thrilled to make a professional recording. He enjoyed having his house filled with the neighborhood kids, always assigning a pet name to each one. Larry also enjoyed hunting and fishing, taking rides on his motorcycle, and loved repairing and working on small motors.

Survivors include his wife Alice, two sons David (Lisa) of Rothschild and Todd (Catherine) of Wausau, and three grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Allison. He is also survived by four sisters and one brother. Lucille Huffman, Schofield; Earl Rosenau, Mosinee; Beverly Rickenberg, Wausau; Marlene (Raymond) Fortier, Harrison Arkansas; Shirley (Art) Hartmanstorfer, Racine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Dennis, and two sisters Betty and Banita.

The family wishes to thank Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice for their loving care.

The family requests no flowers please. A memorial fund is being established by the family.

Memorial services will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Schofield on Tuesday, December 18th. Visitation will be at the church from 2 PM until 5 PM. Services will be held immediately following the visitation. Please follow the signs in the parking area off of Alderson and park to the rear of the church.
