Hanneman, Berdina F.

Berdina F. Hanneman, 91, Wausau, died Monday, December 24, 2012 at Yuma Regional Medical Center, Yuma, Arizona.

She was born March 24, 1921 in Rib Falls, daughter of the late Fred and Alma (Woller) Wendt. On May 20, 1939 she married Elmer Hanneman at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau.

Berdina was a homemaker but worked several jobs outside her home over the years including the former Edgar Basket Factory, Weyerhauser in Marshfield and many years at the Edgar Bakery. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, shaking dice and especially loved baking.

Survivors include her children, Carol (John) Nortman, Black River Falls, Roger (Darlene) Hanneman, Merrill, DuWayne (Karen) Hanneman, Irma, Kenneth Hanneman, Craig, Colorado and Glen (Marsha) Hanneman, Tomahawk; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 15 great great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine McNeil, Panama City, Florida and a brother, Elroy (Janet) Wendt, Shawano.

Besides her parents and husband, Elmer, she was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and a grandson, David.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at First English Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Erik Olson will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Wein. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
