Theresa was born July 10, 1916 in Portage Country, the daughter of Leo and Teckla (Maslowski) Stanczyk. She married Prosper "Midget" Kazmierczak on January 23, 1943 in Polonia. Together they farmed and operated Midgets & Terry's Bar and General Store, until selling the business in 1953. Alongside her husband, they owned and operated P. Kazmierczak's Home Building where she displayed her talents of painting, staining and wallpapering.
Theresa enjoyed dancing to any music, especially polkas. She had a green thumb as evidenced by her flower and vegetable gardens. Her baking and cooking ability in the kitchen would put Betty Crocker to shame. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and attending children's and grandchildren's sporting events. Theresa loved life - her family was her greatest joy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Theresa is survived by two sons, Leroy (Marge), Mosinee, and Kenneth (Judy), Plymouth; two daughters, Karen (Greg) Suski, and Lois (Don) Matykowski, Stevens Point; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sister, Selma Turzinski and sister-in-law, Beverly Stanczyk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Prosper in 2010, granddaughter, Kim (Suski) Hintz; 3 brothers; Conrad, Emil, Chester, and one sister; Lorraine Check.
