Tammie M. Davis (nee Tesch), 44, of Menomonee Falls, WI, passed away March 17, 2013 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee after a short bout with cancer. She was born August 2, 1968 in Wausau to Gene and Gin Tesch of Wausau.
Tammie graduated from Phillips High School in Phillips, WI and North Central Technical College in Wausau with an associate's degree in accounting. She completed her internship and worked at WSAU-WIFC Radio Station in Wausau, before transferring to Milwaukee to work at WKTI-WTMJ and later at KISS FM. Later Tammie changed her career path and went into child care, and was lead teacher of Toddler 2s at Zion Lutheran Church Child Care in Menomonee Falls until her time of illness.
She married Chuck Davis in Milwaukee on May 29, 1999.
Tammie is survived by her husband, and two sons, Matthew and Tyler, all of Menomonee Falls; her parents, Gene and Gin Tesch of Wausau; brother, Todd (Deb Wermeling) Tesch; and her nephew and niece, Nathan and Aubrey Tesch, all of Fort Atkinson, WI. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles; Arlon (Barb) Tesch, Elroy Rosenwinkel, Doreen (Bill) Radloff and Georgie Bradley; along with 20 cousins, and many co-workers and friends.
Tammie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alice and Martin Tesch, and Gertrude and Gerald Fehl; two aunts, Marlene Rosenwinkel and Carol Gniot; and a cousin, Ken Rosenwinkel.
Tammie will be truly missed and her memory will live on forever in our hearts.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Saint Andrew Lutheran Church, 3200 N. Mountain Road, Wausau. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams St., Wausau, and again from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Wausau.
