Helen M. Zawislan, 87, of Mosinee, died Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at St. Claire's Hospital, Weston.
She was born Aug. 29, 1925, to the late Ludwig and Victoria Dylak. She married Ted Zawislan on Nov. 24, 1949 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 1972.
Helen was a ginseng farmer in the Marathon area. She was the second generation in the U.S. and was very fluent in Polish language. She loved her family very much along with her work and peoples that surrounded her.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Zawislan, and Bonnie Zawislan, both of Stevens Point; a Grandchild, Nicole (Brett) Groshek, Ringle; a Great-Grandchild, Mason Groshek; and a brother, Fred Dylak, Mosinee.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at Our Savior National Catholic Church, Mosinee. The Rev. Marion Talaga will officiate. Entombment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, where there will be a 7 p.m. rosary. Visitation will be again from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Tuesday all at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee
