Howe, David Allen

David Allen Howe, 57, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013, surrounded by family, after a fourteen month battle with Leukemia. David loved fishing, camping, and most of all spending time with his family and his three grandchildren. Everyone that knew David immediately loved him. He just wanted everyone to have a good time and always made everyone laugh.

David was born on July 31, 1956 to David and Alene Howe in Wausau, WI. He graduated from Wausau West High School in 1974. David met his lovely wife Monica a week after he returned home to Wausau after serving in the Navy. They married on June 19th, 1982 at St. Therese in Rothschild, WI. David ran the Howe Brothers Dairy Farm with his brother Matt for 18 years. David also worked for McGivern Masonry and Graebel as well.

David is survived by his wife Monica and three daughters; Jessica (Mike) Jirgl, Carissa (Matt Hastreiter), and Micaela, his grandchildren; Hayden , Jaelyn, and Everly, his parents, his brothers Rick (Judy), Brian, Mark (Kathy), Matt (Beth), Brent (Lori) and his twin for a month sissy, Kay (Larry) Berens; dear mother-in-law Lucille Fisher; sisters-in-law Julie Gazin and Cynthia Fehlandt; brothers-in-law Mike, Jerome, Barney, Fran (Kay), Gerard (Nikki), and Greg (Kim) Fisher; as well as many Nieces and Nephews.

David is preceded in death by his grandparents, nephew Chase, and brother-in-law Tim Fehlandt.

There will be a visitation from 2:00-6:00pm on Sunday September 8th, 2013 at Brainerd Funeral Home, 522 Adams Street, Wausau, WI. A second visitation will take place on Monday, September 9th, 2013 from 10:00am-12:00pm at St. Anne's Church 700 W Bridge St, Wausau. Following the visitation a Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the family.
