Willard "Mike" Keough, 86, of Wausau, died February 5, 2014 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - Colonial Manor, Wausau.

He was born November 13, 1927 in Watersmeet, MI to the late George and Ada (Aucuit). Mike honorably served his country in the Army during WWII. He married Paulette E. Struck on February 17, 1977 in Scholfield.

Mike started his sales management career working for Drott Tractor Company, Milwaukee, then he was at Pioneer Industries, Minneapolis, MN and he retired in 1993 from Astec Industries, Chattanooga, TN.

Mike was a member of the Elks Lodge #248 and the American Legion Post #10. He was an avid golfer, 3 holes in one. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a season ticket holder of the Green Bay Packers. Mike has a really good sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette, Wausau; children, David (Mary) Keough, Okachee, WI, Jeff (Peggy) Keough, Waukesha, Kevin (Diana) Keough, Atlanta, GA; 2 step-children, Robin Ball, Seattle, WA, and Paul (Athena) Hoefs, Wausau, WI; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-granchildren, sister; Elaine (Robert) Knapp, Kaukauna, WI, many other family and friends.

Preceded in death by 8 siblings.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 930 Edgewood Rd., Wausau. Rev. Nancy Russell will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Full military honors will be conducted following service by the American Legion Post #10.
