William Kramer

William (Bill) L Kramer was born on June 26, 1953 and passed away on Thursday February 19, 2015 at age of 61. He was the son of the late Wilfred R Kramer and Elaine J (Smith) Kramer. He married Colleen (Carpenter) Kramer in 1970, but they were later divorced after 34 years. Bill left behind four sons. Richard (Mary) Kramer of Shawano WI, David (Tina) Kramer of Wausau WI, Thomas Kramer of Schofield WI and Matthew Kramer of Green Bay WI. He also had nine grandchildren. Jacob Kramer Ft Bliss, Texas. Joshua, Brianna, Nathan, and Tyler Kramer Wausau, WI. Cory Kramer Schofield, WI. Connor and Kellan Kramer of Shawano, WI. Allison Kramer of Green Bay, WI. Bill was survived by his 4 siblings Susan (Jack) Bliss, Debra Leitermann, Diane (Mike) Dalnodar & Michael Kramer.

Bill was born in Medford WI where he lived until about the age of 5. Shortly after that he moved to Wausau where he lived until he enlisted in the Army at the age of 17.

Bill served proudly in the Army as an Optician from 1971 to 1991 where he was stationed at Ft Richardson in Anchorage, AK and Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Co. Out of all of his accomplishments, he always took great pride in his military service.

Among his many hobbies he loved being in the outdoors the most. Whether it was hunting or fishing in Alaska, Colorado or his native home of Wisconsin. Nothing brought him more joy than taking his kids and later his grandkids hunting and fishing.

Bill will be truly missed.

A visitation service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 9:00am-11:00am at John J Buettgen Funeral Home - 948 Grand Ave, Schofield , WI 54476

Although the exact date is not set at this time. There will be a military funeral for Bill at Central Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in King, WI in May. Please stay in touch with the family for details.
