To Kara and the entire family - I simply want to send out our condolences to everyone there. Jason was an amazing man that I was blessed to have met and shared time with the past few years. Words can't express the sadness we feel - only the tears that we have shared since hearing the news of this tragedy last Wednesday. Jason was so easy to hang out with and always had a great smile and way about him that will remain with us forever. Though NC born and bred (and Panthers fan), I will never forget getting to spend time with him cheering at Packers games, rooting the Pack on, while having a few beers - and him laughing at us because we thought it was so frigid! Jason and I (and Erica) will always have an undefeated record at Lambeau! I am sorry I can't make it there this week due to work but glad Erica will be there to pay our condolences in person from our family to you all. Thank you Jason for your honor, bravery as an officer, service to the community, and making a great friend to this NC crew! We love and will miss you dearly ...Randy Burks, Erica Hoefler, and our boys (Ethan, Adam, and Carter)
