Scott Wilson Wolfe

Scott Wilson Wolfe, 51, of Waymart, died Wednesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center after a sudden illness.

His wife of over thirty years is the former Lorna L. Vinton.

Born in Corning, New York, he was the son of Dale W. Wolfe, Arizona, and the former Sandra B. Beckhorn, Carbondale, and was a 1979 graduate of Western Wayne High School.

The past several years he was employed as a fuel truck driver for Sharkey's Fuels in South Canaan. He was previously employed by Howe Oil Co., Lake Ariel, and S.J. Bailey & Sons, Honesdale, where he had worked for twenty-three years.

Scott enjoyed the companionship of his dogs, riding his motorcycle, and liked to cook. He enjoyed mowing and spending time outdoors and was a very hard worker.

He is also survived by two sons, James Wolfe, Waymart, and Lt. Devin Wolfe and his fiancé, Elise Wagner, both of Rocklin, California; a sister, Heidi Soden, Honesdale; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James.

Following cremation, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Jenkins Funeral Home, 269 Belmont St., Waymart.
