Billy James Templeton, Jr., 52 of Jessup, PA and formerly of Levittown and Pleasant Mount, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at his home. He is survived by his wife, the former Caroline A. Kern.

Born on July 9, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL, he was preceded in death by his father Billy James Templeton Sr. He was the son of Eunice Ann Carmichael Wilcox and step-father Don Wilcox of Levittown, PA. Billy was a carpenter by trade and later worked at Moore Business Forms and Erie Materials.

Bill spent much of his time outdoors fishing, working on home projects, and searching for additions to his many collections. He loved playing and following sports and was a devout Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed coaching his children in Little League and above all, spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Also surviving are his sons Billy Templeton III and wife Amanda Avery of Bethany, PA, and Nicholas Templeton of Pleasant Mount, PA; his daughter Amanda McGinty and husband Brad of Kingston, PA; sisters Sheri Templeton of Penndel, PA and Theresa Schlacter of Levittown, PA; grandchildren Bradley and Brynna McGinty.

Cremation services were handled by Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at Beck-Givnish Funeral Home, 7400 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA at 2 p.m.

The family will receive friends from 1 to service time on Saturday at Beck-Givnish Funeral Home.
