Don Zink Obituary
Don Zink passed away suddenly on January 29 in his home in Beach Lake, PA.

Born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska, Don will be remembered as a devoted and loving family man and friend. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and to share his vast knowledge of allthings practical. Prior to retiring to Beach Lake in 2008, Don was a commercial fisherman in Southeast Alaska.

He loved sitting on the deck of the Quakermaid in the early morning, coffee in hand, appreciating the vast beauty of the Alaskan wilderness. His love and devotion to his family and friends, ready laugh and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed. Our time together was too short.

He is survived by his wife, Robin (Mickel) and his daughters Jaime (Tom) Carlin and Jessie Zink. His brothers, Dan(Sharon), James (Charlie), and Allen Robin) and his sisters, Lenore (Clifford) Guthrie and Julia (Larry) Kubley and his extended family, Janene Mickel, Guy (Helen) Mickel and Kyle (Sarah) Mickel plus numerous nieces and a few nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Grace Irene Zink.

A Celebration of Life and spreading of his ashes will be held in Ketchikan, AK at a future date.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Ketchikan Little League at P.O. Box 5455 Ketchikan, AK 99901

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rasmussen Funeral Home, Narrowsburg, NY.
