Russell K. Enslin, a lifelong resident of Lake Ariel, died Saturday morning at the home of his son Clifford.|
His wife of 54 years was the former Thelma J. Enlsin who died February 23, 2002.
Born in Lake Ariel, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Leora Frisbie Enslin. He attended the former Gravity and Lake Consolidated Schools and was a member of the Lake Ariel United Methodist Church.
Prior to retirement he had been employed by the former Keystone Aggregate Company for 30 years and also had been the owner of Enlsin Excavating.
Surviving are sons Clifford and his wife Mary of Lake Ariel, Russ and his wife Millie of Maplewood, Gary and his wife Kathy of Lake Ariel, Dwayne and his companion Pam Brown of Hollisterville and Eugene and his companion Margaret Sayre of Lake Ariel; sisters Margaret Edwards and her husband Fritz of Cortez and Kathryn Turouski of S. Canaan; brothers George and his wife Carol and Eugene all of Lake Ariel; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson Eric Enslin and a brother Graydon Enslin.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with services by Rev. Arthur Davis.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
