Marion H. Daub, of Narrowsburg, NY, a retired Registered Nurse for Catskill Regional Medical Center and a longtime resident of the area, died on Sunday March 30, 2014 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. The daughter of the late Gerald and Charlotte Diehl Hawley, she was born March 23, 1934 in Lookout, PA. She was 80.|
Marion graduate with a nursing degree from Binghamton General Hospital.
She married Fred Daub and they were married for 57 years, he survives.
A family statement reads: no man could ever have a better wife, or children have a better mother.
She served everyone as a nurse, but her family was most important to her.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will truly be missed as she was a big part of our family."
Survived by her husband Fred Daub, three children: Denise Daub and her husband Ronald Borchert of Beach Lake, PA, Jeffrey A. Daub of Narrowsburg, NY, and Daniel Daub and his wife Patricia of Erie, PA. Two grandchildren: Bryan and Matthew, Nine sisters and brothers: Eleanor Keesler, Harold Hawley, Everitt Hawley, Evelyn Peters, Joyce Hellmers, Grace Mills, Lois Kooch, Mark Hawley Lowell Hawley.
Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marion is predeceased by one brother Clayton Hawley and a sister Gladys McCormick.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Cremation will take place at Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA.
