Christopher Z. Lefkoski-Drobnicki, 19, of Davenport, Fl., formerly of Lake Ariel, died early Monday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Davenport.|
Born in Honesdale, he was the son of retired Air Force MSGT John Drobnicki, Waymart, and the late Debrah Lefkoski Drobnicki.
A graduate of Ridgeview High School in Davenport, he participated in the school's Junior ROTC program during his four years of high school, and was of the Catholic faith.
He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Zigmund and Christa Lefkoski of Davenport Fl., with whom he resided; a brother, Gerard Drobnicki, Scranton; a sister, Chelsea Lefkoski, Wisconsin; a step-brother,
Thomas Hopkins, and three step-sisters, Diane Canfield, and Donna and Danielle Hopkins, all of Scranton; aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his aunt, Angie Ramiro of Davenport, with whom he was especially close, and his godparents, Ronnie Connolly and Jane Howell, both of Waymart.
He was also predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Frieda Matoushek Drobnicki, and a cousin, Johnnie Drobnicki.
The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Waymart, with mass celebrated by the Rev. Gerard McGlone, senior priest. Everyone attending the funeral on Monday is asked to go directly to the church.
Interment: Canaan Corners Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Jenkins Funeral Home, 269 Belmont St., Waymart.
