Violet A. Dougherty Obituary
Violet A. Dougherty, The Hideout, Lake Ariel died Monday in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after an illness. Her husband
of 55 years is Otis R. Dougherty.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ she was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Robert C. Scank. She was a member of the Avoy Christian Church. She had been employed as a manager at the Dollar General Store, Hamlin.

She was a member of the and the AARP.

Also surviving are sons Brian of Hazelton, Kevin and his wife Margaret of Honesdale and Keith of Lake Ariel; a sister Dorothy Maul of New Hampshire; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and
nephews.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. Lake Ariel with services by
Rev. Randy Eichelberger.

Friends may call Thursday from 4-7pm. in the funeral home. Interment, Indian Orchard Cemetery.
