A family statement reads: "It is with a very heavy heart that we regret to inform you our beloved son, Justin Thomas Cordaro passed August 5, 2013.
The sun was warm today, the sky so blue with a cool breeze but now our hearts are forever broken, filled with sadness for the loss of our son. When he got scared at night I remember him curling up in bed with us. Singing to our customers in the restaurant in his big beautiful opera voice.
The blueberry picking days with his Oma and Opa and his big brother Joey, so his Oma could bake them a pie. After they were all done picking berries, Joey's bucket was full but Justin's bucket empty and face all blue. Oma asked, "What happened?" Justin replied, "Oma it's soooo hard to get them in the bucket!"
How excited he was to have a little brother, Duncan.
Sleigh-riding around the restaurant in the winter. It's the little things that you remember. When he cried the day we had to leave our hotel room on vacation because he just loved that place and was going to miss it there, we had to tell him it's OK we will be coming back some day. He wiped his tears and said good bye. We will always miss him! His BIG smile!! His silly ways he looked at things. He loved to draw doodle and write down his thoughts. We had our ups and downs but remember, Justin, you were always loved, you are at piece in the Lords arms, we will be together again."
Also surviving are his brothers Joseph M. Cordaro and wife Amanda of Yonkers, NY and J. Duncan Cordaro of Honesdale; maternal grandmother Patricia Watson of Pleasant Mount; paternal grandparents Philip and Charlamaine Cordaro of Honesdale; uncles Philip Cordaro and wife Patsy, Jamie Cordaro and wife Leslie and Todd Watson; many cousins.
