A resident of Gonzales, he passed away at his home in Gonzales surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. Henry was 73, a resident of Gonzales, and a native of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was a welder inspector with Local 198 and an Army veteran having served in Korea. Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Faithful United Methodist Church, 14253 Hwy 431, St. Amant. Masonic services will be held Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 9 am until Christian service at 11 a.m. Burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Paula; children, Don and Debbie Person, Perry Person, Susie and Chayland Trabeau, and Kim Callan Braud; grandchildren, Kelsey and Madison Person, Travis and Samantha Person, Trey Hall, Brent Duplessis, Leslie and Quinn Boudreaux, and Katie Braud; great-grandchildren, Gage Duplessis, Mayleigh and Brennan Boudreaux, and Keira Person; sister, Barbara Ann "Bobbie" of Victoria, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Person, Sr. and Eula Goodman Person; his sister, Judy Jacob. Pallbearers will be Trey Hall, Travis Person, Brent Duplessis, Quinn Boudreaux, Chayland Trabeau, Callan Braud. He was a member of Faithful United Methodist Church, New River Blue Lodge, and 32nd Scottish Rite. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Shriners Hospital or the .
