BELLEFONTAINE - Jeffrey Alan Brentlinger, 45, of Zanesfield, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his home. He was born in Kenton, Ohio on August 26, 1971 to late Ray and Joy (Bowersmith) Brentlinger.
He is survived by his children; Kelsie Brentlinger of Zanesfield, Kody (Emily) Brentlinger of Fairborn, and Chris (Macy) Bailey of Columbus; a granddaughter, Jessica Brentlinger; sister, Kim (Brian) Nelson of Nevada; brothers, Harold Brentlinger of DeGraff, and Kevin (Teri) Brentlinger of West Mansfield; many nieces and nephews; many family friends, the Martins' and Arseneaus'.
Jeff worked at Honda Transmission in Russells Point and owned and operated JB Pool, Spa, and Supplies in Bellefontaine for many years. He loved boating and being on the lake. Jeff enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes, Dallas Cowboys, and Ben Logan Raiders football games. He truly loved his children and granddaughter "Baby J". Jeff enjoyed being around his family, friends, and never knew a stranger. His big hugs will never be forgotten.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a Celebration of Life service at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family requests favorite sports attire is worn for visitation on Thursday evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Future Education for granddaughter, Jessica Brentlinger C/O Honda Federal Credit Union, 19775 St. Route 739, Raymond, Ohio 43067.
Funeral arrangements are in care of the EICHHOLTZ DARING & SANFORD FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER in Bellefontaine and condolences may be expressed to the family at www.edsfh.com.
