Anthony Olinger

DeGRAFF – Anthony "Tony" Ralph Olinger, 64, of DeGraff, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 in his home.

He was born Dec. 24, 1952, in Springfield, Ohio the son of Ralph and Icea (Wilkinson) Olinger. Anthony was active donor of the Children's Hospital, the Veterans, the Cancer Society, the Shriner's Hospital, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Boys Town. He enjoyed collecting clocks and cookie jars, cooking, and repairing older houses. Tony loved watching channel TMC and all the old movies & shows, even having most of them on DVD. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tony was a kind-hearted and giving individual that will be dearly missed.

Anthony was survived by his children, Anthony "Wayne" (Tami) Olinger and Senceray Olinger; his grandchildren, Kaylean Jones and Landon, Lukus and Brayla Olinger; his brothers, Willard "Daniel" Nelson and Thomas Edward Olinger; his sister, Dora O. Drye; his cousins, Carlton Nickells, Carol Ann and Linda Maze; and his numerous nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donald J. Olinger; his sisters, Margaret Lock, Betty Lock, Dorthy Grand and Mary Ann Inke-Woods; and his brother-in-law, Glen Drye.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in the SKILLMAN, McDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in the funeral home with Rev. Steve Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Woodstock Cemetery.
