Helen Fosnaugh

LAKEVIEW - Helen T. Fosnaugh, 68, of Arcadia, FL, and Lakeview, OH, passed away, Thursday morning, February 4, 2016 at Tidewell Hospice House in Arcadia.

Helen was born on July 29, 1947 in Toms River, NJ, a daughter of the late William Vigus Sr. and Loretta Peltier Buchanan, who survives in Toms River, NJ. On August 30, 1988, she married Charles "Fuzz" Fosnaugh II and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2003. She is also preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Grove, Sr.

Helen is survived by her longtime companion, Jim Frost, three children, Diane (Carl) Tackett and Rich (Marie Cuellar) McCabe, both of Marysville, OH and Jennifer (Tony Brown) Travis of Winchester, OH, two stepchildren, Leslie (Brandon Solo) Frost of DeGraff, OH, and Michelle (Greg) Bates of Bellefontaine, OH, nine grandchildren, Amber Tackett, Brittany (Jesse) Sines, Jordan (Roy Underwood) Tackett, Ashely Williamson, Devin McCabe, Dylan McCabe, Kyle Travis, Kody Allen and Isebell Allen, three step grandchildren, Savana and Alaie Frost, and Dalton Bates, five great grandchildren, Jazzlynn Richardson, Gavin Sines, Leighton Spanswick and Audrey & Connor Brown, five siblings, William (Maureen) Vigus II, of Wanamassa, NJ, Ruth (Barry) Henderson of Neptune, NJ, Charlie (Kathie) Grove of Sea Bright, NJ, Raymond (Jen) Grove of Pensacola, FL, and William Vigus III of Tennessee, and several nieces and nephews.

Helen attended Neptune High School in New Jersey. She was an active member of the Acadia Red Hats and member of the Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533 in Lakeview. She was an avid bingo player, loved to paint and make crafts, and enjoyed a variety of outdoors activities. Helen had a larger than life personality and never knew a stranger. Her greatest joy was her family and caring for others.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016 at SHOFFSTALL FUNERAL HOME NORTH CHAPEL, 115 N. Main St., Lakeview, OH. Visitation is Friday, February 12th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
