Jean Kay King

WEST LIBERTY - Jean Kay King, 75, formerly of West Liberty, passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 19, 2017 in Gilbert, Arizona.

Kay was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 29, 1942 to the late Karl Leroy Sudlow and Pansy Mae Harr. She married Ralph David King on November 4, 1961 at McKee's Creek Friends Church in West Liberty and he preceded her in death on May 11, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a brother Kenneth McCoy.

Kay worked for many years as a data entry clerk but enjoyed her retirement spending time with friends and family. She was a member of Arizona Community Church in Tempe, Arizona, and was heavily involved in Bible study and prayer groups. She enjoyed scrap booking and crochet and was a member of the Agave Quilters Guild and PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization).

Kay is survived by her children: Karen (Gregg) Williams of Sandwich, Illinois, Kimberlee (Jon) Bebb of Chandler, Arizona, Kerry King of Milford Center, Ohio, and Kelly King of Gilbert, Arizona ; grandchildren: Zachary Williams, Corey, Alex and Kelsey Bebb, Chandler, Madison, and Hunter King, and Mathias, Gillian, and Caitlyn Smith; a great granddaughter Lyra Vargas; sisters Carol Brickell of Hiram, Georgia and Linda (Paul) Allen of Lima, Ohio, and a brother John F. Perkins of DeGraff, Ohio.

Friends may call at the EICHHOLTZ DARING & SANFORD FUNERAL HOME, West Liberty, on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 7-9pm. Pastor Richard Hendrix will officiate the funeral on Saturday at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
