BALDWINSVILLE - Wilma G. Horan, 87, passed away Saturday (April 12, 2014) at Elderwood Health Care at Birchwood in Liverpool.
Mrs. Horan was born on March 29, 1927, in Wellsville, to Hartwick and Maude (Wilson) Goodridge. She was a 1945 graduate of Andover Central School. She proudly graduated cum laude from Jamestown Business College.
Wilma is survived by two sons, John F. (Ronalee) Horan of Gerry and James M. (Mary Beth) Horan on Baldwinsville; two sisters, Pearl Snyder of Andover, and Reta Holinko of Alfred Station; six grandchildren, Heather, Shannon, Ryan, Sean, Abigail and Christopher; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother, Gerald Goodridge and a sister, Caroline Goodridge.
Wilma was a loving homemaker, whose greatest enjoyment was time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid BINGO enthusiast and enjoyed crafts, embroidery and cross stitching.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Andover. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with Rev. Peter Anglaaere of Our Lady of the Valley Parish officiating.
