Gertrude died suddenly and peacefully holding the hand of her eldest daughter. She was 87 years old. She is survived by her 10 children, numerous grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Gertrude enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She loved listening to piano music and singing. She was a strong Christian who lived to serve others by giving and encouraging.
Thanks to the exceptional staff of 2nd Floor Main of Malaspina Gardens, Gertrude's last few years were happy. She felt safe and cared for due to the personal attention she received there.
Gertrude will be forever honoured and loved. Until we meet again, Mom. We love you. xo
