Born in Utrecht, Holland on February 18 1922. Hetty was a war bride and came to Canada in 1946. Travelling to Saskatoon, the coal mines of Alberta then a short trip to New Zealand finally settling down in Nanaimo. Mom worked for BC Ferries and said it was the best job she ever had. Surviving Hetty are daughter Yvonne of Nanaimo, son Robert of Kelowna and nieces Kerri Monk, Jennifer Felker, brother Joop in Holland and numerous other nieces and nephews in Holland. At mom's request no flowers or cards. Also no service, after cremation there will be a short family get together. Many thanks to the staff at Wexford Creek.
