Patricia (Patsy) Weber Baxter Pelton, eternally optimistic, always elegant, and highly creative, passed away on June 14, 2014 in Naples, Florida after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Patsy was born in Larchmont, NY to William and Carin Weber, and raised in Westport, CT. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design and was graduated from Parsons School of Design. She had a successful career as a fashion designer, working in Sweden, Boston and New York City. She went on to pursue her artistic talents in painting and finally jewelry design, creating until the final days of her life. Patsy loved to travel and spend time with her friends and family. Patsy is survived by her husband, Warren, her children, Erika Baxter Griffin (Tim), Christina Baxter, Lisa Pelton McCormick (Brad), Nina Pelton, Stephen Pelton (Ben Collins), her grandchildren, Mackensie Griffin, Morgan Griffin, Mimi McCormick, Jessica Griffin Hathorn (Sean), Peter Griffin, great grandson, Cole Hathorn, and her former husband, Robert Baxter. Burial will be private. A celebration of Patsy's life will be held at a later date.
