SHELBINA, Mo. -- Virginia Pearl White, 94, of Shelbina, died April 28, 2016, at Clarence Care Center. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shelbina. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home, Shelbina.

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- Phyllis J. Wingfield, 86, of Hannibal, died April 25, 2016, at Luther Manor Nursing Center. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at James O'Donnell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grand View Burial Park. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Woodworth, Dorothy M. - Quincy  
QUINCY -- Dorothy M. Woodworth, 96, of 728 South 15th, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Blessing Hospital. Dorothy was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Avoca, Wis., to the late Joseph and Lettie (Olson) Arneson. She married Albert L. "Bud" Woodworth on Sept. 16, 1939, in Waukon, Iowa. Bud passed away Feb. 15, 2004. Dorothy helped her husband at the filling stations she and Bud owned in Ursa and Marcelline before moving to Wisconsin, where they lived for 32 years. They also owned a farmette in Ursa for many years. Dorothy loved people and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Woodworth of McFarland, Wis.; four grandchildren, Daniel DeLacy, Donald (Laura) DeLacy, Doreen DeLacy and Robert (Maryann) DeLacy, all of the Rockford area; three great-grandchildren, David DeLacy of Davenport, Iowa, Amand DeLacy and Nicholas DeLacy, both of the Rockford area; one sister, Betty Updike of Edgerton, Wis.; and several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan DeLacy, and a son-in-law, Robert DeLacy. SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at Hunter Funeral Home, Mendon, with Pastor Walt Wilcoxson conducting. Interment will be in New Providence Cemetery, near Ursa. VISITATION: 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. MEMORIALS: Charity of the donor's choice. ARRANGEMENTS: Hunter Funeral Home. Wintjen, James E. "Jim" - Carthage  
CARTHAGE, Ill. -- James Eugene "Jim" Wintjen, 78, of Carthage, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Memorial Hospital in Carthage. Jim was born March 17, 1938, in Pleasant Hill, Pike County, Ill., a son of James Andrew and Bonnie (Guthrie) Wintjen. He graduated from Barry High School. He was united in marriage to Mary Lee Williams in 1958 and they had four children, Caroline (Wade) Talley of Perry, Debbie (Eric) Hull of New Salem, James (Dee) Wintjen, Jr. of Griggsville, and Sandy (Bill) French of Camargo. He married Linda Whitaker in 1974 and of this union there was one daughter, Linda (Tom Baldwin) Smith of Pittsfield. On Jan. 16, 2016, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Ufkes Powell in Carthage. She survives. Jim served in the U.S. Army from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1959. He held various positions in his working career, retiring from Titan Wheel in Quincy. He loved to cook and managed several restaurants. He enjoyed fishing, camping, going to garage sales, auctions and flea markets. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Carthage. He is also survived by stepchildren, Debbie Jump of Perry and Gary (Lucy) Whitaker of Corning, Calif.; two sisters, Bonnie (Mike) Heimer of Baylis, and Mary Moss of Pittsfield; and 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one stepdaughter, Rogenia Whitaker; and his second wife, Linda. SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Carthage. Burial will be held with military rites at a later date in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery near Basco. MEMORIALS: Calvary Assembly of God Church in Carthage. Wymer, Patty K. - Quincy  
QUINCY - Patty K. Wymer, 84, of Quincy, and formerly of Salamanca, N.Y., died at 5:05 a.m. April 16, 2016, at Timber Point Health Care Center. Patty was born Sept. 8, 1931, in Buffalo, N.Y., a daughter of Myer and Anna Lasky. She married Arthur Wymer on July 25, 1953, in Salamanca. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1989. Patty loved flowers and gardening. She will always be remembered for her youthful appearance and sass to match. She was a member of Lutheran Church of St. John. Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl (Andy) Holtschlag of Quincy; five grandchildren, Shanna Russell of Quincy, Christopher and Levi Holtschlag, both of Quincy, Scott Wymer of Quincy, and Kylie Wymer of Rock Island; a great-granddaughter, Jordyn Brink; her sister, Irene Morton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Patty was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Ronald Wymer. SERVICES: Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, in Steamberg Cemetery in Steamberg, N.Y. VISITATION: A private family gathering will be at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
