Billie Ann Steffen-Riddle

Billie Ann Steffen-Riddle, 60, of Quincy, died at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday (April 9, 2014) in her home.

Born Dec. 20, 1953, in Quincy, Billie was a daughter of William "Bill" and Betty Jean Schnellbacher Steffen. She married Roy E. Riddle on May 3, 1997, in Quincy. He survives.

Billie was a 1972 graduate of Payson Seymour High School. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts. She and her husband also enjoyed traveling throughout the southern United States. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends, and her little wiener dog, Chucky. Billie really enjoyed planning all the family events and parties. Her smile and sparkling blue eyes will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.

Billie was employed at several restaurants and bars in St. Louis and Daytona Beach, Fla., and also sold real estate in St. Louis.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her mother, Betty Jean Steffen of Quincy; a brother, Terry Lee Steffen of Quincy; a sister, Sandra J. Grannan of Quincy; five nephews, Todd Grannan, Jeffrey Grannan and Greg Grannan, all of Sarasota, Fla., and Steven Steffen and Kurt Steffen, both of Quincy. Also surviving are several great-nieces and great-nephews, and two great-great-nephews.

Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by her father.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Monday in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Steve Disseler. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.

VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m Sunday and before services Monday in the funeral home.
