NEBO, Ill. -- Brian M. Walston, 28, of Nebo, died Saturday (Jan. 19, 2013) in the Blessing Hospital emergency room in Quincy from injuries suffered in vehicle accident a mile west of Nebo,
Brian was born in Quincy on July 29, 1984, a son of Murl and Joani Reeder Walston.
Brian was employed at Fifth Gear Manufacturing in Louisiana, Mo.
He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, hunting, pool, karate and cage fighting.
Brian was a devoted father, and his life centered on his two sons, Daniel and Dalton.
He is survived by his mother and father, of rural Nebo; his sons, Daniel Murl and Dalton Matthew of the home; two sisters, Angie (Todd) Grammer of Nebo and Annette (Craig Westfall) Stabile of Valley City; grandparents Gladys (Robert) Clarkson of Pittsfield, Adine Walston of Pittsfield, Don (Betty) Reeder of Melford, Ind., and Nancy Daniel of Milton; three nieces, Bethany Grammer, Grace Ann Stabile and Rose Lynn Stabile; a nephew, Elijah Grammer; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandfathers Harold "Shug" Walston and Lyndle Labby; a sister, Amanda Walston, in 1982; and a niece, Savannah Grammer.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield. Interment will be in the Greenpond Cemetery near Pearl.
VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
MEMORIALS: Daniel Walston and Dalton Walston Education Fund.
