Greg Gagnon, 58, of Osage Beach, Mo., formerly of Quincy, died Monday (Nov. 5, 2012).
Greg was born Jan. 26, 1954, at Long Island, N.Y., the son of Edward and Ruthann Kelley Gagnon.
He married Karen Mast on May 22, 1976, in Quincy. Together they had shared the past 36 years of marriage until his death.
Greg graduated in the class of 1972 from Christian Brothers High School in Quincy. He attended Blackhawk Junior College in Kankakee and in 1976, Greg graduated from Quincy College.
He had worked 36 years for Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks, and for the past eight years, he served as president and CEO.
Greg enjoyed many activities, including golf, boating, tennis, basketball and diving. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the lake.
Greg was a board member at Lake Regional Health System, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of Rotary Club
of Lake Ozark. He was also involved in many other community organizations. Greg was an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark where he served on the Finance Board.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Karen, of the home; two sons, Brian Gagnon and wife, Erin, of O'Fallon, Mo., and Adam Gagnon and wife, Ashley, of Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Michael Gagnon of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Patti Mock and husband, Rick, of Peachtree City, Ga., and Karen Weiss and husband, Bruce, of Melbourne, Fla.; one granddaughter, Elaina; as well as several other relatives and many friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruthann Gagnon.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. Friday in the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark, Mo.
VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
MEMORIALS: Memorial donations are suggested to a fund established at Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks for Greg's grandchildren.
