MEXICO, Mo. -- Helen Prisner, 97, of Mexico, Mo., formerly of Lewistown, died at 1:48 a.m. Sunday (March 17, 2013) at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks in Mexico.
Helen was born Oct. 22, 1915, in Mendon, Ill. Helen married Clarence Prisner. He preceded her in death.
She was a farmer's wife and an employee of Motorola and then Harris Corp. in Quincy, Ill., for 39 years.
She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Spencer and husband, James, of Mexico; two sons, Harold Prisner and wife, Carol, of Blandinsville, Ill., and Chester Prisner and wife, Maxine, of Palmyra; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren and counting.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard Prisner of Lewistown; two daughters, Linda Marshall of Mexico and Marilyn Schreiner of Sun City, Ariz.; one grandson, Mark Spencer of Mexico; and two granddaughters, Nicole Santrizos of Charleston, S.C., and Audrye of Sun City.
SERVICES: Noon Saturday in the Dover Baptist Church at Dover in Lewis County with Bob Stanford officiating. Burial will be in the Dover Cemetery.
VISITATION: Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the service in the church.
