MEREDOSIA, Ill. -- Joe McDonald, 72, of Yulee, Fla., died Nov. 24, 2012, in Jacksonville, Fla.

Joe was born Dec. 6, 1939, in Meredosia, a son of Andy and Ollie McDannald.

Joe worked for the Norfolk and Western Railroad for several years as a track inspector out of the Barry depot.

He is survived by three children Joe McDannald, of Hannibal, Mo., Beth (Mark) Steiniger, of Litchfield, and Angela (Kevin) Allensworth of DeWitt, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death, by his mother; father; three brothers; and four sisters.

SERVICES: A private ceremony will be held with immediate family members.
