June B. Bramblett, 79, of Quincy, died at 6:38 p.m. Friday (June 6, 2014) in St. Vincent's Home.
She was born Aug. 29, 1934, in Golden, the daughter of John F. and Erna Franzen Bruns.
June was an employee of Motorola for 16 years as a phaser.
She was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Golden and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Quincy.
June was a volunteer at Blessing Hospital at the information desk for many years.
Survivors include four nephews and nieces, Michael (Carol) Smith of Mendon, Scott (Tammy) Smith of Golden, Susan (Larry) Brown of Golden, and David Jansen of Quincy; five great-nephews and great-nieces, Jeremy Smith of Quincy, Brandon Smith of Quincy, Brittany Smith of Quincy, and Logan and Shelby Davis, both of Golden; an aunt,
Maralee Franzen of Golden; and an uncle, Raymond Franzen of Golden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Betty (Ray) Welty and Shirley Rieman.
SERVICES: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with the Rev Mike Fieberkorn officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Golden.
VISITATION: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
