Kay Roger Walton

Kay Roger Walton, 79, husband of Janice Karen Ancell Walton, died Tuesday (April 2, 2013) at his Georgetown, S.C., home.

Born on March 21, 1934, in Quincy, he was a son of the late John Joseph Walton and Frances Matilda Carl Walton.

Mr. Walton retired after many years of service with International Paper Co.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Kevin Walton of Good Hope, Ill., Kip Walton (Soona) of Waynesboro, Pa., and Kyle Walton (Sherry) of Georgetown; one daughter, Kim Vahle (Gene) of Georgetown; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dale Walton of Florida and Glen Walton of Mendon; and one sister, Betty Wiemelt of Quincy.

He was predeceased by a son, Kerry Francis; and three grandsons, Enrico Curto, Mathew Tyler and Nicholas Gage Walton.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at a later date.
