Marguerite L. Wilson

CLAYTON, Ill. -- Marguerite L. Wilson, 86, of Timberpoint Healthcare Center, formerly of Clayton, died at 1:10 a.m. Tuesday (March 19, 2013) in the home in Camp Point.

Born Aug. 19, 1926, in Adams County, Marguerite was a daughter of William and Elsie Shepherd Davis.

She had been employed as the Clayton village clerk and also worked as the secretary for Mixer Lumber Co. in Clayton until her retirement.

Marguerite was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Roger Wilson (Vickie), Clayton; a daughter-in-law, Donna Wilson, Quincy; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Donnie Wilson; and a brother, LeRoy "Bud" Davis.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Thursday graveside services will be in the South Side Cemetery in Clayton, with the Rev. Tim Todd conducting.

VISITATION: There is no visitation, but friends are invited to attend the graveside service.
