Mary Musolino Delaney, 72, of Sarasota, Fla., died Monday (March 18, 2013), surrounded by her family.
A daughter of Tony and Minnie Musolino, Mary was born on Aug. 11, 1940, in Quincy. Mary was a devoted wife and mother, and was passionate about cooking, bridge, golf and tennis. Mary is survived by her husband of 56 years, James E. Delaney, and their children, Michael Delaney, Michelle Delaney Kechriotis (Chris Kechriotis) and Matthew Delaney (Kimberly Delaney). Mary is also survived in the hearts of her grandchildren, Jessica Delaney Connor (Rob Connor), Creston Delaney (Jamie Delaney), Constantine Kechriotis, Christian Kechriotis, Colton Delaney, Madison Delaney and Wyatt Delaney; and great-grandchildren, Robby Connor and Cayden Delaney. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Don, John and Joe Musolino; and sons, Mark and Martin (infant). MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34235 or Incarnation Catholic Church, 2901 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34239.
