Patricia A. Huston, 77, of Quincy, died at 2 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 24, 2013) in Blessing Hospital.
Born July 10, 1936, in Quincy, Pat was a daughter of Edwin and Isabelle Gerding Warmker. She married Edward D. Huston on April 7, 1956, in St. Mary Catholic Church in Quincy. He survives.
Pat attended Blessed Sacrament Church. She was an avid bowler and Quincy University women's basketball fan and enjoyed camping and reading. Pat's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she will be remembered for her cooking.
Mrs. Huston was employed for many years in the accounting office at J.C. Penney in Quincy until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Edward; two daughters, Cindy Bailey (Roy) of New London, Mo., and Julie Bocke (Henry) of Quincy; a son, John Huston (Erin) of Quincy; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Bailey, Amanda Bailey, Shane Bailey (Amber), Lee Bocke, Colleen Wagner (Paul), Catherine Bocke, Ellie Bocke and Zachary Huston; two great-grandchildren, Corinne Bailey and Alex Kasl; and was excitedly awaiting the arrival of her third great-grandchild, Brody Bailey. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Huston was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donnie Warmker; and two sisters, Marge Giesing and Rita Lagerstrom.
SERVICES: 10 a.m. Friday in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home, conducted by Monsignor Michael Kuse. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and until the time of services Friday morning in the funeral home.
