CANTON, Mo. -- Mrs. Rose Mary McCutchan, 80, of Canton, died at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 2, 2013) in Blessing Hospital, Quincy, Ill.
She was born Dec. 25, 1932, in Hannibal, a daughter to William H. and Helen Marie Twesten Knoche. She was united in marriage to Buckley D. McCutchan on Oct. 28, 1951, in Canton. He died on April 21, 1977.
Rose was a very active member and treasurer of Centenary Methodist Church near Canton. She worked at the Canton Coffee Shop and was the office manager at Niemann Foods in Canton. She enjoyed singing in the Senior Stars Band and liked to play bunco.
She is survived by a son, Steve McCutchan and his wife, Tina, of Canton; two daughters, Janet Lerner and her husband, Les, of New London, Iowa, and Donna Leone and her husband, Jim, of Canton; a daughter-in-law, Bev McCutchan, of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sue Johnson, of Canton; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Clara Knoche, of LaBelle; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James McCutchan; a sister, Virginia Sonneborn; and a brother, Bill Knoche.
SERVICES: 2 p.m. Sunday in the Arnold's Funeral Home, Canton, with the Rev. Sam Smith conducting. Music will be provided by the Senior Stars Band. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Buckley McCutchan, Hunter McCutchan, Nick Lerner, Brian Leone, Nathan Wainwright and Dale Stice.
VISITATION: 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with family present after 6 p.m.
MEMORIALS: Centenary Methodist Church.
