Terrie L. Sadberry

Terrie Lynn Newman Sadberry, 56, of Luther, Okla., went to be with Jesus on Saturday (May 11, 2013) in Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was born on June 30, 1956, in Quincy, a daughter of John and Doris Newman. Terrie graduated from Quincy High School in 1974. In 1979 she moved to Tulsa, Okla., where she met and fell in love with Eddie Le Sadberry. They married on April 19, 1980.

Terrie became a registered nurse in 1992 and worked for 10 years as a home health nurse before becoming a dialysis nurse for DaVita in Oklahoma City where she had been working since.

Terrie spent most of her spare time on top of her mule, Marley, and always said that any time she wasn't riding was just wasted. She enjoyed many different projects, Scouting with her kids, camping and living life to the fullest. She was a friend to everyone she met and would help anyone in need.

Terrie is survived by her husband, Eddie Le; her daughter, Kaly (Josh) Mathis of Oktaha, Okla.; a son, Beau of Oklahoma City; son, Chet and fiancé, Casey, of Newalla, Okla.; granddaughter, Brailey; parents, John and Doris Newman of Quincy; a brother, Jay (Karla) Newman of Quincy; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and her mule, Marley.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lilburn and Emily Cutforth; her paternal grandparents, Harry and Kathryn Newman; and a sister-in-law, Beth Newman.

SERVICES: 2 p.m. Monday in the Luther School auditorium, Luther, Okla. Cremation rites have been accorded.

VISITATION: There will be no visitation.

MEMORIALS: Luther Community Service Center or His Ranch (Therapeutic Riding Lessons) in Taylor, Mo., in care of Jay Newman, 1836 Hilltop Drive, Quincy, IL 62305.
