Rosemary Balzer Obituary

Rosemary L. Balzer, 97, of 1606 Chestnut, died May 8, 2011, in Blessing Hospital.

Rosemary was born on Nov. 1, 1913, in Quincy, a daughter of George and Catherine Helmer Stratman. She married Daniel F. Balzer on May 2, 1936, in Mount Sterling. Daniel died on Oct. 25, 1997.

Rosemary was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Balzer of Washington; a daughter, Lynne McIntire and her husband, Ralph, of Quincy; four grandchildren, David Balzer of Seattle, Jennifer Webb of Florida, and Jeffrey McIntire and Lisa Bealer, both of Quincy; and five great-granddaughters.

In addition to her husband, Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a grandson and in-law, Kenneth Bealer.

SERVICES: There will be no services. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery at a later date.

VISITATION: There is no visitation.

MEMORIALS: Charity of donor's choice.

ARRANGEMENTS: Duker and Haugh Funeral Home, Quincy.

she had a lot of good advice on flowers, food, and animals. she was always happy to see her family when they walked in the door. she will be missed by me and her family. if you reed this in heavin we all love and miss you a lot.
