Diane L. Durbin, 69, of 2917 St. Anthony Road, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday (June 27, 2014) in her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 8, 1945, in Quincy, a daughter of Lester and Goldie (Viar) Robbins. She married Jerry Durbin Sr. on Sept. 7, 1966, in Quincy. He survives. Diane graduated from Unity High School. She worked as a CNA at Good Samaritan Home. She was a member of Luther Memorial Church. Diane was an avid collector of both Precious Moments and dolls. She loved to camp and attend card parties. In addition to her husband, Diane is also survived by three children, Jerry Durbin Jr. and his wife, Cindy, of Payson, Tim Durbin of Portage, Mich., and Christine Broeker and her husband, Jim, of Quincy; six grandchildren, Courtney and Skyler Durbin and Brandon, Eric, Gabbie and Nathan Broeker; a brother, Lawrence Robbins, and his wife, Carolyn; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Diane was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, William "Bill" Robbins, Jerry Robbins and Lester D. Robbins; and a sister, Mary Salsman. SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Metz conducting. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 30, in the funeral home. MEMORIALS: Blessing Cancer Center or Blessing Foundation for Hospice. ARRANGEMENTS: Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
