CAMP POINT, Ill. -- James E. Maas, 65, of Camp Point, died Tuesday (Nov. 5, 2013) in his home. He was born on Jan. 20, 1948, in Quincy, a son of Edmond and Betty Chandler Maas. He married Dorothy Johnson on June 3, 2000, in Siloam Springs Park. She survives. He was self-employed in the hauling business and was a retired Camp Point Central school bus driver. James will be greatly missed by his wife, mother, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters and numerous other family members and friends.
