Larry Allen Hardaway Obituary
Larry Allen Hardaway, 63, of Quincy, formerly of the Duneland (Ind.) area, died in his home Monday (May 5, 2014).

He was born Jan. 28, 1951, in Athens, Ala., to Andrew and Willadene Craig Hardaway, both of whom preceded him in death. On July 26, 1996, in Quincy, he married Linde Henry Hardaway, who survives in Quincy.

Larry formerly worked as manager at Gardner Denver in Quincy. He was an avid baseball and softball fan and participant.

In addition to his wife, also surviving are his nephew, Kristopher Hardaway of Portage, Ind.; nieces, Kelsi Van Wormer and Kadie Van Wormer of Portage; sister-in-law, Starla (John "Jacko") Van Wormer of Portage; mother-in-law, Lenora Henry Iwan of Porter; sister-in-law, Peggy Hardaway of Elk Grove, Calif.; cousins, Gayle and Ross Smith of Athens; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jim Hardaway.

SERVICES: 4 p.m. Saturday in the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. Second St., Chesterton, Ind. Burial will be in Chesterton Cemetery.

VISITATION: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Scleroderma Foundation, 134 N. LaSalle St. 1360, Chicago, IL 60602.
