Larry D. Moss Obituary
BOWLING GREEN, Mo. -- Larry D. "Seawood" Moss, 53, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday (Nov. 5, 2013) at Frankford.

Larry was born May 22, 1960, in Hannibal, the son of Archie Junior and Doris Grote Moss. On May 23, 1987, he married Debbie Cox at the Christian Church in Bowling Green.

Larry spent all of his life in Bowling Green and was a 1978 Bowling Green High School graduate.

He was raised Catholic.

Mr. Moss worked at Bunge for several years and later with Superior Express for more than 17 years. He mowed grass, bladed driveways and brush hogged.

Larry was a worker, people person and loved life to the fullest. His grandson, Zalen, was the apple of his eye, he loved him so much.

Survivors include his parents, Archie and Doris Moss of New Hartford; his wife, Debbie Moss; a son, Brian Moss (Ashley) of Bowling Green; a daughter, Christine Moss of Bowling Green; grandchild, Zalen Dale; three brothers, Roger Moss (Joyce), Brock Moss and Jason Moss (Sarah Byram), all of Bowling Green; four sisters, Lynn Turpin (Kenneth), Janet Portwood (Darren), Brenda Richards and Melissa Riley (Donny), all of Bowling Green; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Archie Terry Moss, Ruth Moss, Clem Grote and Regina Grote.

SERVICES: 1 p.m. Saturday in the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green, with Rev. Dawn Marie Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Keith Cemetery in New Hartford. Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Moss, Jason Moss, Brock Moss, Jerry Dixon, Kenny Silvey, Rob Johnson and Junior Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Kelly and Scott Bair.

VISITATION: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
