Larry E. Aden , 71, of Prescott, Ariz., formerly of Quincy and Bowen, passed peacefully, but unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013. He was born to Victor and Dorothy Waddill Aden in Quincy on Jan. 25, 1942, and grew up in the Bowen area. He graduated from Central High School in Camp Point in 1960. He then studied and graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. He went on to attend Northeast Missouri State College (Truman State University), where he obtained his master's degree in education. On Sept. 17, 1967, he married Mary Junk, and from this union, sons Timothy and Justin came. Throughout his life, he enjoyed his multiple Harley-Davidson motorcycles and Corvettes. He had recently been an active member of several classic car collector associations and enjoyed participating in their activities. He is survived by his sons, Timothy of Denver and Justin of Springfield, Mo.; his brothers, Ronald of Franktown, Colo., and David and his wife, Marilyn, of Prescott; and his sisters, Elaine Raines and her husband, Gary, of Salt Lake City, and Annette Yates and her husband, Glenn, of Sandy, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICES: A private memorial will be held by the family. MEMORIALS: Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden.
